About Cassandra

"I can barely believe the stories I'm about to tell you. But I assure you, they are real."

When you're named after a myth, it is hard to not adopt some of the traits reflected in that story. Cassandra's prophecies were never believed, and I can barely believe some of the amazing people I am bringing to you, dear reader. But I assure you, they are real.

The Living Myth project is from a place of my own personal wonder of the world around me. I grew up with myths and stories, I spent more years than I want to admit studying how they move, shape, and affect our world. What I've learned is that myths don't just live in tomes and dusty museums, but walk among us. We are our own myths.

All of the people interviewed in this project come from all walks of life in Los Santos - the invisible, the renowed, and everyone in between.

Myths are not just legends of old - they're with us, move with us, and through us. Patterns that repeat time and time again, just the names and places change. I hope to capture just some of those for you, dear reader.
